Dr. Fernando Urzua
Dr. Fernando Urzua grew up in Northwest Indiana. He majored in Biology at Indiana University. After graduation he joined Teach For America, where he taught Biology, Chemistry, and Calculus at John McDonogh High School in New Orleans, LA. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan and his Certificate of Endodontics from Tufts University in Boston, MA. He has published research in the treatment of oral cancer. His most recent research has been in the management of post-operative pain. He has presented his research at conferences across the country. He is a board eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists, a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.
